Can you specify which effects in these programs are ideal for making dub? Which echo/delay effects specifically seem to work good? Thank you.

ideal effect in digital audio editor software for making dub
no such thing, really. Some effects are useful. Also for dub the effect unit itself is only one part(component) of the 'formular', the other part (componet of signal manipulation in dub) is dynamic (in real time) application of the effect and dynamic (in real time) adjustment of paramets of the effect and(or) chain (or split-merge) combination with other dynamicly adjustable effects or signal processing (like eq/filtering). So another words the effect unit has to be accessable (insertable) and real-time configurable (adjustable) in vary configurations of signal routing at the mixing stage.

So, where I am leading here to is: In general any effect (signal processing unit) can be useful if the producer has ability to freely route and adjust effect's parameters in real time and freely manipulate the effect's output routing to create (or call-up) IDEAL sound manipulation application for the very specific and unique moment during the dub session.

makes sense? <IMG SRC="
